Para que não restem dúvidas acerca das reais capacidades do F-35, as mesmas estão bem patentes numa notícia publicada na mais recente edição da revista "Combat Aircraft", que descreve pormenorizadamente a noite de 9/10 de Setembro quando os drones russos entraram em espaço aéreo polaco.O Lockheed Martin F-35A Lightning II é sem dúvida a melhor plataforma de combate disponível neste momento, e episódios como este só reforçam a importância/relevância deste sistema de armas, e o pulo tecnológico que este caça irá conferir à FAP. Não há tempo a perder, é avançar o mais rapidamente para a assinatura da LOA, mesmo que um primeiro lote seja somente de 14 a 16 aparelhos.

Só ainda não percebi é como o lobby da Embraer/Saab não consegue nos vender um AEW&C. Mesma que nas melhores da hipóteses, venhamos a ter os EF T4 e os F-35A, um GlobalEye ainda era uma peça vital.E bem vendido, ainda dava para dizer que era para ajudar no combate aos incêndios.
