BAE Systems is assessing a range of weapon systems that could be carried by the Eurofighter Typhoon for the counter-unmanned aircraft system (C-UAS) role, the company disclosed on 11 September.

Speaking at the Defence and Security Equipment International (DSEI) 2025 exhibition in London, Paul Smith, BAE Systems head of Typhoon Strategy Delivery, said the company is studying a number of low-cost weapon solutions for the role, including its own AGR-20A Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System (APKWS) 70 mm guided rocket.

É bem que a FAP se mexa em relação a integração dos APKWS nos A-29, se tiverem a espera da FAB para pagar a conta bem vão ficar a espera.

A Sierra Nevada integrou os APKWS nos A-29 do Líbano.

Certamente,  mas não deixa de ser interessante que os tentam caçar com aviões antigos, agrícolas... de arma em punho.

Já os russos andam atrás deles de helicoptero, muitas vezes com tiro feito com mira manual.

O ST certamente não conseguiria tais proezas. Pelo menos segundo os expertos.😉

Agora conceptualmente, não me tentem dizer que a resposta para o combate aos drones são os ST...
Podem desenrascar mas virem-me com o argumento que é um meio barato para a missão tenham lá santa paciência.

Os AIM-9X são caros, mas o que se pagou pelos ST dava para 500 AIM-9X

São as tais palhaçadas, ou filhas da putice que não se percebem, foram 200 ME pelos Tucanos, em contrapartida vamos receber 18 AIM-9X para os F-16....

Os bonecos batem palmas , é o que interessa.
