MARINETTE, Wisconsin — A Marinha dos Estados Unidos recebeu oficialmente, em 26 de novembro, o futuro USS Cleveland (LCS 31), o 16º e último navio da variante Freedom da classe Littoral Combat Ship (LCS), construído pelo estaleiro Fincantieri Marinette Marine. A entrega marca o fim de um programa industrial iniciado há mais de 20 anos e considerado um dos mais extensos ciclos de construção naval de pequeno porte da US Navy no século XXI.
