Que modelos existem no mercado, ou podem existir, que requeiram pista?

Neste momento nenhum dos UAV da Marinha precisam de pista, isso não quer dizer que no futuro não existam.

Certo, então como se define o tamanho de uma pista, senão sabemos para que fim irão servir?
O porta-drones turco tem uma pista de 231 metros e sabemos que foi um porta-drones por acaso....

O próprio conceito divulgado pela damen mostra os drones a ser lançados por catapulta e não a usar a pista na totalidade...

Entretanto...apesar de as fragatas irem deixar de existir:

Damen lays keel for first F126 frigate 📡⚒️⛓️⚔️⚓️ for Germany in Wolgast 🇩🇪. The Dutch shipyard will build, together with Blohm and Voss and Thales, four units of this class in the German ports of Wolgast, Kiel and Hamburg.

These are the largest German warships to be built since World War II, with a length of 166 metres and a displacement of 11,000 tonnes. They are expected to replace the Type F123 or "Brandenburg" class frigates. Among their features, their small crew of only 114 stands out, which will be replaced every four months in a multi-crew system. The ships include 16 Mk 41 cells (continuing the scourge of the low number of cells in Europe), eight NSM anti-ship missiles, two SeaRAM point defence systems, a 127mm mount with Vulcano extended range ammunition and two 27mm mounts. In addition, it will have a flight deck and hangar for two NH-90 Sea Tiger helicopters. Additionally, it can be equipped with an anti-submarine warfare module. Delivery of the first unit is expected in 2028, and Germany could increase the number of ships of this class to a total of six.

German industry agree to build next-gen F127 frigates sooner

Thyssenkrupp Marine Systems and NVL Group have set in motion the construction of the new F127, which is “urgently required” as a matter of security policy.

Thyssenkrupp Marine Systems and NVL Group – two major players in the German naval industry – have signed an agreement to cooperate in the construction of Germany’s next-generation F127 frigates.

A new joint venture was also established for this purpose, which is to be led by the larger shareholder Thyssenkrupp. The German Federal Cartel Office approved the planned cooperation the day before the announcement.

German Navy Poseidons at RAF Lossiemouth

The UK and Germany will work together to protect critical underwater infrastructure, such as submarine cables, and improve detection of enemy activity in the region. To this end, Germany will regularly deploy P-8A Poseidon maritime patrol and anti-submarine warfare aircraft to RAF Lossiemouth.

The cooperation is part of the recently signed Trinity House Agreement between the UK and Germany. The deployment of German Poseidons to Scotland is a key part of the agreement, strengthening NATO's ability to monitor and protect the North Atlantic region.

The first German Navy P-8A is due to be delivered in 2025, with the first flight scheduled for November 2024.

Germany purchased eight P-8A Poseidon aircraft. The budget for the first five aircraft was approved by the Bundestag (German parliament) on 23 June 2021, and funds for the purchase of three additional aircraft were released on 26 November 2023.

German frigate 🇩🇪FSG Baden-Württemberg & support ship FGS Frankfurt am Main to avoid Red Sea on their way home from Asia Pacific deployment and will go around the Cape of Good Hope.

Commissioned in 2019, the frigate -Württemberg lacks adequate combat systems to cope with the Houthi threat.

Ship was specified ca. 15 years ago for a completely different scenario, namely "stabilisation ops". It has some good capabilities (boats, large hangar space, NGS, ASSM, medical, SF support) and will go through a modernisation to give it the AAW upgrade it needs with IRIS-T SLM.

O que é que ganhavas com isso? Um navio muito maior do que as nossas Vasco da Gama ou as Bartolomeu Dias, quase de certeza que iria necessitar de muito mais pessoal e ainda com misseis antiaéreos com um alcance ainda menor, sem sonar, e sem falar do orçamento que provavelmente necessitarias para manter um bicho destes.
