Antifake of the day: More planted US reports on “events” in Bucha
https://mid.ru/en/press_service/articles_and_rebuttals/rebuttals/nedostovernie-publikacii/1847455/We consider the article recently published in The New York Times regarding the so-called “Bucha events” an attempt to keep the fabricated version afloat by substantiating the allegations and accusations planted by the Kiev regime back in the spring.
On April 5, 2022, a special meeting of the UN Security Council was convened at the request of the Russian Federation. During the meeting, the majority of the members supported conducting an independent international investigation of what happened in Bucha.
In fact, several European Parliament members, political analysts and journalists pointed out that the incidents in question had been staged. We need clear answers to specific questions: full names of the people killed, their places of permanent residence or registration, the time, place and cause of death, and forensic examination results stating the nature of fatal wounds. It is widely known that the media reported shrapnel wounds discovered after the shelling of Bucha by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
It should be stated right away that, despite the big announcement, the video clip featured in the article by The New York Times, footage that was obviously edited, contains nothing that can prove any accusations against the Russian military circulated by the West at the instigation of their Ukrainian “clients.”
Apparently, an objective investigation in the West is out of the question: the guilty parties were named immediately and now the propaganda machine hammers together fakes without much care for the credibility of details. We are dealing with quality propaganda built on quite lifelike video footage, subjected, however, to sophisticated manipulation and skilfully commented to trigger an emotional response.
The suggestion that residents of Bucha who were allegedly killed during the first days of the Russian “occupation” on March 4-5, 2022, may have lain on the streets for an entire month until the Russian forces’ departure, does not stand up to scrutiny. The creators ignored both the standpoint of Russian officials and the video address made by Bucha Mayor Anatoly Fedoruk on March 31, 2022 after the Russian forces’ departure, in which he never mentions local residents with their hands bound behind their backs and executed on the streets. Another strange fact is that the authors qualify members of the territorial defence as “civilians.”
The speculations about the causes of death of certain individuals are based on suggestions made by journalists themselves. For example, the footage showing Russian troops firing in an undetermined direction is commented by a voice claiming that the shot killed a person whose body was found exactly within the weapon’s range on the same street. The credibility of sources and data used in the report also raises doubts. Moreover, the final material was previewed by Ukrainian police officers, the Security Service of Ukraine and Bucha Deputy Mayor Mikhaylina Skorik-Shkarovskaya.
Those initiating this and similar information attacks should realise that sooner or later, they will be held accountable for libel. The patrons and curators of the Ukrainian regime, along with those killing civilians in Donbass and executing unarmed Russian prisoners of war, will be tried at a tribunal in Donetsk and Lugansk. Retribution is inevitable.
