Spare parts are not the problem.
Software and hardware updates are.

Trump is a problem.
Even if he looses, Europeans will be looking at who he will leave behind.

And "buy European" will take off. Especially if he wins.

I like Kamala Harris´ momentum.

But there are a lot of stupid Americans.

There is a point where Trump and i see eye to eye.
If you are willing to spend 5 Billion on something - you are in a good position to make a good deal.
We will get no good deal for F-35s.

Alguém dizia por aqui que os F-35 necessitam de se ligar aos servidores da LM para programar as missões. Se assim for esse é um problema extra do F-35. Enquanto que o F-16 ou até o Gripen E/F (que utiliza um motor americano) podem ser "mandados" parar mas poder continuar a voar não sabemos se o F-35 não vira um pisa papeis caso a LM queira. Mas nesse caso só mesmo o Typhoon e os Rafale se safavam. Mas sinceramente também não está fora de causa que a França ou a Alemanha imponham sanções no uso dos seu aparelhos.

Agora temos as dúvidas existenciais sobre autorizações prévias de uso do F-35 e os solilóquios em inglês do adiantado mental de serviço. Ainda bem que não nasceu na Manchúria, seria mais difícil a interpretação dos seus textos.
