Ora vejamos em 1983 ano em que saiu o episódio VI "Return Of The Jedi", o titulo original que havia sido escolhido era "Revenge Of The Jedi", mas foi mudado por uma razão obvia. Um Jedi nunca se vinga, pois desta forma está a ceder ao lado negro da força :Palmas:

O que tenho é as 3 VHS da comemoração dos 25anos (com os novos efeitos especiais e cenas não utilizadas na 1ªvez).
E "copias de segurança" dos dois primeiros episódios.
Vou esperar pelo natal, ver se a triologia baixa de preço. 69.95 € para talvez 40€ (vou continuar a sonhar)
Estive foi a ver no canal história os documentarios sobre a saga Star WARS.
Ainda não vi nada sobre o fato do Vader.
Estou mortinho para ver a transição de Anakin :diabo: Tornando-se o braço direito do Chanceler Palpatine(Imperador)

Mas do 1º para o 2º já houve uma melhoria, espero que neste melhoria seja maior.
Mas se formos a ver também houve muita expectativa criada no periodo entre a triologia original e os 2 ultimos, e isso tb tem alguma influência pois esperamos sempre mais.

Amigos meus que já viram a versão DVD dizem que houve algumas alterações apreciáveis em relação à "Special Edition" ( novos gráficos principalmente). A substituição do actor original do Anakin Skywalker no final do RotJ pelo Haiden Christensen parece que resulta algo estranha...
Quanto às duas prequelas, o 1º foi provavelmente a maior desilusão que apanhei a ver um filme ( jar jar binkzzzz :wink:

Quanto a "edições especiais", não sei... Acho que se perde um bocado quando o Lucas se põe a inventar em cima dos filmes antigos, com novas cenas e mais não sei quê.
Tenho que ver se vejo o II, se dizem que está melhor que o I.

O Episódio II já foi melhor (especialmente pela quase ausência do Jar Jar Binks do dito)....
Claro que o Darth Maul, na minha opinião era um vilão muito mais espectacular do que o Darth Tyrannus...
Quanto a "alterações cosméticas" efectuadas das special editions de 1997 para a edição em DVD agora lançada, posso salientar o que já vi:

A cena em que o Imperador surge ao Vader em holograma, aquando da persegução á millenium falcon no campo de asteroides foi grandemente alterada e agora é o Ian McDiarmid (o VERDADEIRO Palpatine) a desempenhar o papel, com algumas alterações a nivel de diálogo---na versão original e na de 1997 era um tal de Clive Rivell.
-Regresso de Jedi:
As Cenas de celebração da queda do Império incluem agora Naboo (o palácio real) e a parte de Coruscant foi tb alongada
--Como já alguém aqui referiu (mauzinho), na cena final em que o Luke vê aparecer os "espectros" de Yoda , Obi Wan e Anakin, o Anakin original (Sabestian Shaw) foi agora "substituido" pelo Hayden Chirstensen tal como ele aparece no Ep III , de cabelo comprido---a meu ver , uma boa alteração se tivermos em linha de conta a continuidade cronológica dos filmes..i .e., ver do Ep I para o VI...é com esta fisionomia que o Anakin se torna Darth Vader, e não qd ´ja está velho.

As a first visual representation of a film to a broad audience, a teaser poster must efficiently convey the main spirit and theme of a film, but leave the full depth of characters and relationships for the release poster several months later.
Like the teaser posters for The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones, this one features Anakin Skywalker. Hayden Christensen is depicted as the heroic Jedi warrior, with the encroaching dark cloud of his future represented by his flowing cloak hinting at the Dark Lord to come. It is a darker incarnation of the shadow that followed him as a young boy in the Episode I teaser poster, with the terrifying features of Darth Vader more visible than ever before.

Cast says farewells, but TV is on the horizon...
September 15, 2004 - Reshoots on the set of Revenge of the Sith are wrapping up now. Cast members are saying good-bye to Star Wars forever as they wrap up their final scenes.
"This was very much a fond farewell," Anthony Daniels told the BBC. Daniels has personified the metallic droid C-3PO over the course of six Star Wars films. True to George Lucas's filming style, Daniels' last shot as a droid was taken as he walked along a blue-screened corridor, speaking to a character who wasn't even there.
Commenting on the end of the prequels, Lucas reaffirmed that he has no intention of doing three sequels. "This was never planned as a nine-episode work," the flannel-wearing director told MTV. "The media [pounced when] I made an offhand comment, but I never had any intention of doing that."
However, Lucas is leaving open the possibility that he might pass on the Star Wars torch for someone to make a live-action television series. "Ultimately, I'm going to probably move it into television and let other people take it," he said in an interview with the Associated Press. "You know, I've got offshoot novels, I've got offshoot comics. So it's very easy to say, 'Well, OK, that's that genre, and I'll find a really talented person to take it and create it.' Just like the comic books and the novels are somebody else's way of doing it. I don't mind that. Some of it might turn out to be pretty good. If I get the right people involved, it could be interesting."
Lucas may sound like he's still making up his mind about Star Wars on television, but Lucasfilm officially confirmed during their DVD press conference that a TV series is in the works. There's no word yet on whether it will be set during the prequels, the original trilogy, or during another epoch of Star Wars history. In the past, suggestions made by Star Wars fans have included an X-Wing series or something set during the era of the computer game Knights of the Old Republic.
In the meantime, for those who haven't been following the Revenge of the Sith rumors too closely, SMH.com.au (registration required) has posted a plot summary for the film. (Warning: minor spoilers follow.)
"The film will open three years after the Clone Wars began, with Obi-Wan Kenobi dispatched to bring the film's principal villain, General Grievous, to justice. Grievous ... will, says the animation director, Rob Coleman, be more sinister than Darth Vader.
"Queen Amidala, having married Anakin Skywalker, must at some point give birth to twins, Luke and Leia. In order to protect them from their father, Luke is cleverly hidden on his father's home planet – not so cleverly under his father's surname.
"Princess Leia, meanwhile, is adopted by the Organa family on Alderaan. Unfortunately, she retains the title Princess, making it difficult to disguise the fact that she is Amidala's daughter."
Readers with a subscription to the official Star Wars site's Hyperspace service should also check out the latest VR set image. It's just a neat ventillation tube, but it also bears a great resemblance to the grungy sets of the original series, like the Death Star cellblock or the shafts on Bespin.
