Aconteceu o que, confesso, não imaginei.
O Ian Skennerton respondeu praticamente de imediato, com a informação desejada que, já agora, aqui transcrevo:
"Hi from Vientiane,
The short rifles and artillery carbines of the era typically fixed the yataghan recurving sword bayonet. Most of these were German contract made and the only way to find an original model would be to see if it fixes on the rifle or carbine. If one was extremely luck, it may even be marked with the same rack number as the firearm. But you'd have a better chance of winning the lottery, I would reckon!
Enjoy the knowledge,
Ian Skennerton "
Obrigado caro PM, pela sua brilhante sugestão.
