Did you know that during the dark days of the Easter Invasion of South #Vietnam in 1972, the 366th Fighter Wing used a single, uniquely configured F-4E Phantom to attack Charlie targets around the DMZ? Nicknamed ‘Chico the Gunfighter’ the F-4E serial 68-0339 (pictured above), armed with two SUU-23/A gun pods and Mk20 Rockeye cluster bombs, flew exceptionally ballzy “single-aircraft” FAC missions against the NVA forces, and inflicted very heavy losses on the enemy. #PhantomsPhorever — com 366th Fighter Wing e United States Air Force.
