WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Secretary of State Colin Powell has told his colleagues he is resigning and the White House is expected to make the announcement on Monday, a U.S. official said.

A confirmar-se é uma notícia triste. Sempre tomei Colin Powell como um dos membros mais inteligentes, competentes, moderado e liberal desta administração.
Fica-se com a sensação que a única voz de bom senso existente na actual administração americana a vai abandonar.
