A actual BrigInt foi criada em 1992 com a denominação de Brigada Ligeira de Intervenção (BLI), a qual foi, por sua vez, organizada a partir da então extinta Brigada de Forças Especiais (BFE) que englobava o batalhão operacional do Regimento de Comandos. Tal como a BFE, a BLI seria composta por unidades operacionais aquarteladas em unidades territoriais espalhadas pelo país e dependentes dos diversos comandos territoriais do Exército.


BriFEsp era consituída pelos dois Batalhões de Comandos do RCmds, o seu BApSrvcs are o BCS do próprio RCmds (que tinha companhias de manuntenção e de reabastecimento e transportes, para além duma CCS)







A BriFEsp inlcuía também os BI do RIQueluz e do RIPorto, que junatmente com os Comandos destivam-se a reforçar os Arquipélagos em caso de guerra com o Pacto de Varsóvia.

Na 1a. LPM havia planos para pre-posicionar o equipamento de um BI (RIPorto) + 1 CCmds nos Açores, mais um BI (do RIQueluz) e 1 BCmds na Madeira. Esta LPM previa também os tão afamados misseis Hawk (embora não mencionava o modelo, foi mencionado nos jornais).

A BriFesp tinha ainda um GAC (no RASP) com OtoMelara de 105mm, um EREc com Chaimites/ Saladin/Ferret no RCBraga, uma Btr AAA, CEng e CTrms, todas encargo operacional de unidades territoriais.

Note 1: According to IISS and Janes, in 1989, Portugal held the following equipment in inventory:
Armored Vehicles: 86 M48A5, 50+ M47, 30 Saladin, 56 AML-60/-90, 32 Ferret Mk. 4, 123 M113, 19 M577A2, 81 Chaimite.

Panhard VBL : também tenho essas notas das primeiras entregas em 1989, mas pela janes os primeiros veículos só foram entregues ao exército francês em 1990...

Os V-150 onde estavam ? já tinham sido entregues ? -Vieram em 1989

 
Artillery: 6 M109A2, 60 M101 105mm howitzers, M56 105mm pack howitzers, 23 5.5in guns (já não estava em uso), 40 M114 155mm towed howitzers, 20 107mm mortars, 81 120mm mortars, some 81mm mortars.
Other Equipment: 46 TOW ATGM, 31 SS-11, 45 Milan, 240 90mm and 106mm recoilless rifles,  30 20mm RH202 AA guns, 322 40L60 AA guns, 57 Blowpipe SAMs

Note 2. The Infantry Battalions belonging to the Regiments in the Northern, Central and Southern Military Regions were assigned 4 Milans replacing the SS-11, the ones in the islands still had 4 M-40A1 RR.

Note 3 : Most of the 1st Corps formations were empty ones, to be filled upon mobilisation.

Note 4 : Each Regiment consisted of an operational Infantry Battalion, a training one and a command and services one.

Note 2: Portugal took delivery of 74 G91R/3 and R/4 and 11 G91T/3 beginning in 1966. IISS lists 25 R/3, 18 R/4, and 10 T/3 still in service in 1989. Jane’s lists 50 R/3 and R/4 and 15 T/3.

Em teoria, sim. Tanto que eu escrevi em alguns artigos. Mais recentemente, encontrei uma notícia de 1991 do "Correio da Manhã" noticiando a entrega das V-150. As primeiras poderão ter chegado no final de 1990. Já as VBL foram entregues após Março de 1991 em data por apurar.

Em 89 já se tinham perdido pelo menos 6 ou 7 Corsairs.... :roll:

Penso que no total perderam-se 15 A7P Corsair ao longo dos anos em que esta aeronave esteve ao serviço da FAP.
Hoje dia 12 de Junho de 2006, dois F 18 Espanhois
faziam exercicios sobre territorio Portugues(concelho de Mértola, entre 8am e 9am)
