On 15 October 2022, Rwanda Security Forces involved in Counter Terrorism and Counter insurgency Operations in Cabo Delgado Province of Mozambique discovered stockpiles of weapons and ammunitions that were hidden by the terrorists in Mbau, southeast of Mocimboa da praia District in 2021.The stockpile includes hundreds of weapons ranging from small arms and rockets as well as ammunition and shells. The weapons and ammunition were hidden by the terrorists during the time when the Rwanda Defense Force (RDF) pursued and dislodged them from their strongholds in areas in Siri 1 and 2 in the general area of Mbau.The operation to discover the weapons is a pre-emptive action which denies the enemy the opprtunity of returning and re-equipping themselves for further insurgent actions.

Sim, sim, o governo Moçambicano nem quis ouvir de tropa Portuguesa a combater por lá e agora ia aceitar aviões da FAP bombardear seja quem for.
O Capitão Piloto-Aviador Bernardo Pereira concluiu com sucesso, no dia 5 de novembro, o Programa de Qualificação na aeronave Cessna FTB 337-G.A qualificação foi conduzida pelo mais experiente Oficial Instrutor de FTB da Escola Prática de Aviação (EPA). A Força Aérea volta a ter, após um interregno de mais de dois anos, um piloto-aviador qualificado naquela histórica aeronave. De recordar que as duas aeronaves FTB ainda ao serviço da Força Aérea de Moçambique foram oferecidas por Portugal àquele país há mais de dez anos, tendo a primeira aeronave sido formalmente entregue no dia 3 de março de 2011, em cerimónia que decorreu na EPA em Maputo e que contou com a presença dos Ministros da Defesa dos dois países.Atualmente, o Capitão Bernardo Pereira desempenha as funções de Assessor Técnico para a Área de Pilotagem no Projeto 4, no âmbito da Cooperação no Domínio da Defesa entre Portugal e Moçambique.
