Eu confesso que fiquei um tanto desorientado:
O Ministério  do Mar foi dividido em duas secretarias de estado dependentes de dois ministérios diferentes

A  Secretaria  de estado do Mar dependente do ministério da Economia 
e a Secretaria de estado das pescas dependente do Ministério da Agricultura  e Alimentação…….

E……No meio destes ainda deve aparecer o ministério do ambiente a dar umas dicas….

Éh!! .. vá-se lá entender!…..
Talvez seja mais fácil do que penso ,
Na cabecinha dessa gente: O ambiente não importa, as pescas não existem, e o mar é só para fazer “bonito” nos discursos patrióticos.

West Sea assina contrato de construção para navio de cruzeiros com os noruegueses da Northen explorer..



Northern Xplorer and West Sea Shipyard to build zero-emission cruise ship
 September 9, 2022 

Recently established Norwegian cruise venture Northern Xplorer and Portuguese shipbuilder West Sea have signed a letter of intent (LoI) for the construction of the former’s maiden vessel, with expected delivery at the start of the 2025/2026 cruise season.

Designs Progress with Builder Selected for Zero-Emission Cruise Ship

It has taken three secretive years of planning, but last month Rolf Sandvik revealed his plans for a new kind of cruise ship experience. He plans to build not only the first hydrogen fuelled luxury vessels for Norway, but to rapidly expand to 14 ships around Europe with a completely new style of cruising

Efforts are progressing to design and build the world’s first zero-emission cruise ship that will be outfitted with batteries and hydrogen fuel cells for its power. Norwegian start-up Northern Xplorer reports that it has selected a shipyard and is working with technology partners to choose the technologies for its first cruise ship. The company said it expects delivery of the ship at the start of the 2025/2026 cruise season.

Northern Xplorer and West Sea said it intends to build the 250-passenger cruise ship at yard in Viana do Costello north of Porto. The yard is currently involved in the construction of seven 10,000 gross ton exploration cruise ships being built by a Portuguese entrepreneur and marketed by Atlas Ocean Voyages.

“MNorthern Xplorer (NX) founder and CEO Rolf André Sandvik. “Having approached yards worldwide for tenders, we’re delighted to be embarking on this exciting project with West Sea.”

The vessel’s design features ABB’s fully electric propulsion system, including the battery and hydrogen fuel cell technology that will enable it to sail emissions-free. Northern Xplorer reports that along with ABB they are currently in dialogue with multiple sub-suppliers for vessel systems. When the company initially announced its concept in December 2021, it reported that its current plan is for a series of 14 ships accommodating up to 300 passengers in 150 cabins supported by approximately 100 crew.

osta Silva: "Temos pessoas que querem seguir mais as regras europeias do que servir os interesses nacionais"
O ministro da Economia, António Costa Silva, aproveitou a presença no Parlamento para apelar ao privilégio à indústria nacional nomeadamente em concursos ligados à Defesa.

Foi a uma questão sobre os Estaleiros Navais de Viana do Castelo e a promessa (que Bruno Dias, deputado comunista, diz que não cumprida) de criar 400 empregos, depois da privatização que António Costa Silva, ministro da Economia, realçou estar a seguir a questão, mas aproveitou para considerar que deviam ser dados contratos nacionais aos estaleiros, à semelhança do que os espanhóis fazem.

“A Marinha vai precisar de seis navios, devíamos utilizar os estaleiros nacionais para produzir esses equipamentos. E não pôr cadernos de encargos altamente sobrecarregados que depois fazem desviar tudo”. Mas aproveitou e disse mais.

Mas nós temos isso na nossa nomenclatura em Portugal, às vezes temos pessoas que querem seguir mais as regras europeias do que servir os interesses nacionais. Uma das coisas que nos perde aqui é a famosa síndrome do bom aluno, de fazer o que diz Bruxelas ou acima disso e depois vemos os espanhóis que estão a construir os 12 navios nos estaleiros de Ferrol e vemos o que os holandeses fazem. Temos de defender também a indústria nacional e as nossas potencialidades”.

António Costa Silva considera que o país precisa de dar “mais atenção ao setor industrial”, já que “a indústria é muito importante. Estamos a trabalhar. Um dos vetores essenciais para a economia crescer é dar cada vez mais atenção ao setor industrial”.

E, em resposta a Mariana Mortágua que lembrou casos como os da Cimpor ou da Portugal Telecom que deixaram de ser centros de decisão nacionais (a deputada bloquista considera mesmo que “hoje a condição para ter capital português é manter o Estado nas empresas”), o ministro da Economia diz que “temos de dar atenção para evitar repetir esses erros, de destruição de valor” e analisar “a capacidade que Portugal teve de criar grandes empresas, mas depois entrar nesta rota de perda”.
