Star of first "DPR" would-be blockbuster, notorious commander defects to Ukraine, ready to testify in Hague

...
The T-72B3, dubbed "Ghost," a unique Russian-made main battle tank, which is modified to the level of the T-90 model, was tested in Donbas and the Russians kept that in strict secrecy. It was Captain of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation Yuriy Prilutsky who smuggled the tank from Russia to occupied Donbas. He will soon be promoted to the rank of major. He will be very surprised to learn that his "Ghost" and seven other non-modified T-72 tanks were blown up by Ukrainian guerrillas near the town of Torez shortly before Svitlana's escape. "The eight tanks that exploded simultaneously was quite a shock to the invaders," the report said.
...
Svitlana's high-ranking post gave her access to a secret algorithm, according to which the Russian army is going to further invade the Ukrainian territory. "If the Kremlin gives a signal, the invasion will look like this: each military unit of the so-called 'DPR' and the 'LPR' has a personnel recruitment center with prepared cover identification documents for each Russian soldier who will be brought under the guise of 'mobilization of locals.' Three Russian regiments will be deployed on the basis of each 'DPR' regiment within a few hours. It will be about 100,000 Russian soldiers for the entire Donbas," the report said. Svitlana says the entire operation would take just four hours. "And all the Russians are listed as locals. One regiment will be upscaled to three regiments: if there are two thousand people in the regiment, then six thousand Russians will arrive," the woman explains. "Already now one can identify each of tens of thousands of Russian soldiers who are preparing to occupy Ukraine. Svitlana says she will testify about this in the International Criminal Court. And even more – she is ready to return to the front in the event of aggression to fight alongside the Ukrainian army," the report said.

https://blackfernando.blogs.sapo.pt/ainda-sobre-a-sida-e-por-extensao-170614

Can't Pay Your Bill? Join NATO!
Ukrainian Military Launches New Ad Campaign

EUROPE - 15.08.2016

Kiev residents started receiving army recruitment ads along with their utility bills, with a twist.

The new utility bills that people living in the Ukrainian capital started receiving recently apparently also contain printed ads of a rather unusual sort.

The ads entice the recipients to enroll in Ukraine’s armed forces, but one part of the proposal particularly stands out, according to the Ukrainian news agency Vesti.

"There's an opportunity to take part in a NATO peacekeeping contingent. Wages are 1000-1200 euros," the ad says.

A source in Ukraine’s Defense Ministry Vesti that the number of able-bodied citizens willing to serve in the nation’s armed forces has decreased, prompting the military to resort to such unorthodox measures.

The ongoing armed conflict in Ukraine’s southeast made military service increasingly unpopular among the country’s youths who often go to great lengths to avoid conscription.

In October 2015, the Office of Ukraine’s Attorney General announced that there were about 16,000 deserters from the ranks of the Ukrainian army, according to Lenta.ru.

Furthermore, in May 2016 Andriy Verba, head of the Ukrainian Army Medical Department, said that some of the conscripts recently pressed into service were in fact diagnosed with tuberculosis, hepatitis C and even HIV. He also added that the infected servicemen won’t be discharged and will remain at military facilities during treatment.

Ferdy...

Linkedin?? A sério??

Facts distorted as Moscow claims hundreds of bodies discovered in Ukrainian 'mass graves'
Pro-Kremlin media misrepresent activist while Russian-backed rebels contradict the claim and say only nine bodies found

Russia’s foreign minister said on Wednesday that 400 bodies had been found in mass graves in eastern Ukraine but the claim looked highly contentious after it emerged that reports from the scene had been distorted by Russian media.

“This is obviously a war crime,” Sergei Lavrov told a press conference in Moscow. “Already more than 400 bodies have been discovered in burial sites outside Donetsk and we hope that western capitals will not hush up these facts [because] they’re horrific.”

Russian officials and separatist rebels suggested that both civilians and pro-Russian militiamen are among the dead found at several burial sites in and near Nizhnya Krynka, 20 miles east of Donetsk, the regional capital.

They suspect the victims were executed by Ukrainian troops during recent fighting against the rebels. However, the number of victims and the manner of their death has not been independently verified.

The Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) said it saw two bodies at two sites last week and found a pile of earth resembling a grave which had a stick with a plaque marked in Russian with the names (or in one case, initials) of five individuals, and the phrase “Died for Putin’s lies”.

Several state-run Russian media outlets on Wednesday reported comments from Einars Graudins, a Latvian activist who had visited the scene.

Rossiyskaya Gazeta, the government newspaper, described Mr Graudins as being there “with a team of OSCE experts” and having visited the “mass burial sites in Donetsk region where more than 400 civilians and executed rebels were discovered”.

RIA Novosti, the influential state-run news agency, ran the headline: “OSCE expert: about 400 bodies found in burial sites near Donetsk.”

However, a close reading of Mr Graudins’ comments shows that he spoke only of 400 unidentified bodies being located in Donetsk morgues, where many bodies of victims from the armed conflict in eastern Ukraine have been taken.

Casting more doubt on the veracity of the reports, the OSCE published a statement saying that Mr Graudins – who is actually a pro-Russian activist in Latvia – had “no link whatsoever” to the organisation.

It was unclear whether Mr Lavrov had suddenly been supplied with fresh evidence of hundreds of bodies, or he had fallen prey to Russia’s feverish state media.

Andrei Purgin, a senior rebel leader, said that only nine bodies had been discovered, not 400. “We were misunderstood,” he said, according to Interfax. We were speaking about the fact that 400 is the overall number of unidentified bodies in Donetsk morgues, 90% of whom are civilians who died at different times.”

Tendentious and blatantly false reporting on both sides has become a trademark of the war in Ukraine.

Earlier this week, it emerged that Russian television had used images of victims of the MH17 Malaysian airline disaster to illustrate reports about the alleged discovery of the "mass graves" in eastern Ukraine.
